JOB DESCRIPTION
- Your Role and Responsibilities

- Perform competitive and market research to understand market dynamics
- Create a marketing message around capabilities supporting GenAI
- Create demos and presentations on use case patterns
- Manage the early access program for pre-release activities
- Enable sales on how to position watsonx.data and deliver clear value proposition
- Lead product presentation to senior internal and external stakeholders
- Gather feedback and needs from customers to validate assumptions and inform product requirements
- Create product messaging content such as blogs
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Strong customer-facing and communication skills/experience Experienced with delivering presentations to senior stakeholders and influencing decision-making while navigating difficult situations
- Experience using or developing products for data science and GenAI Experience working with data prep and transformation tools, experience
- Experience performing competitive and market research to shape product positioning and messaging
- Experience managing diverse stakeholders demand Able to manage expectation and alignment across the various outbound product stakeholders (Marketing, Sales, Consulting, Client Engineering, Customer Success managers)
- Prior marketing or GTM product management experience: Developed marketing message, value prop, and product positioning for highly technical products in a B2B setting.
- Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- Experience working in product roles or entrepreneurship
- Understanding of Data Management, Data Security, and Data Sharing in the context of diverse data stores (SQL and NoSQL databases, including vector databases)
- Domain expertise in working with diverse data architectures and distributed data management such as Data Lakes, Data Lakehouses, Data Warehouses, and Databases
- Understanding of B2B product management dynamics
- Understanding of the IBM Cloud, GCP, AWS, and Azure ecosystem
- Strong relationship-building skills
- Proven ability to effectively communicate and manage multiple stakeholder relationships
- Experience in representing and advocating for client/market needs and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning.
