Job Responsibilities –

• The lead would need to be hand-on, develop in-depth subject matter expertise with the tasks described above and contribute to the particular Region / Market aligned, as well as guide the junior resources on the team with functional nuances
• Identification and hiring appropriate talent with varying experience levels, staffing the team appropriately and managing them both individually and as a collective team – setting goals, monitoring progress and offering ongoing career guidance
• Responsible for Business Development – Apply business / product / process understanding to identify opportunities to build depth in the function, move up the value chain from a complexity standpoint and work towards end to end ownership of appropriate tasks
• Establish strong controls and governance framework to ensure proper integration of the India team with the global partners
• Stakeholder management – effective communication and regular status reporting to key business stakeholders
• Ensure consistency and process efficiencies across the team, and identify opportunities for process improvements Analyze existing capabilities and identify priority gaps and opportunities
• Lead and be the catalyst for change as requirements and priorities shift as we progress from planning to execution
• Encourage and drive collaboration with related functions/groups supporting this business locally and globally to drive integration and efficiency.
• Required QualificationsWe seek candidates with a unique blend of leadership, interpersonal and analytical skills. In addition to functional responsibilities, the lead is expected to act as a key engagement point with location teams and lead a highly motivated team for both qualitative and quantitative resources to understand complex financial situations and present solutions. Specific qualifications include:
  • University degree holder(including MBA / CFA / CFP)and / or with 8+years of professional experience in a similar capacity
  • Strong knowledge of Private Bank product offerings, asset class knowledge
  • Inclination to understand market dynamics and develop expertise
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal), analytical and organizational skills
  • Excellent stakeholder engagements skills
  • Strong team management experience and ability to navigate matrix organization
  • PowerPoint and Excel expertise required
  • Strong understanding of the needs and sensitivities of client management
  • Absolute discretion when dealing with confidential matters
  • Able to work under minimal supervision adaptable to work in demanding environment
  • Detail-oriented and results-focused
  • Exceptional follow-up and follow-through skills
  • Should be flexible with EMEA /LATAM shifts.
  • Lending Specialist Support
    • Assists the team in the structuring, execution and delivery of credit solutions
    • Prepare related materials including proposal memo and data analysis, liaises with client advisors (bankers, investors, client service specialists), risk, legal and operations partners, manage the deal execution process to completion
    • Interacts with client advisors and credit risk team in handling lending-related enquiries and following up on outstanding items
    • Understands the bank’s credit risk framework and maintain a high level of awareness around any potential credit issues able to resolve the issue and/or escalate to senior team members as required
    • Be familiar with the bank’s credit documentation, including the terms and conditions, the structure and its relevance to a transaction
    • Proactively resolve exceptions, open items and transactional issues
    • Assist the team in preparing presentations and marketing materials, produce ad-hoc and regular management reporting, stress test scenarios, data analysis and any other team initiatives.
