  : Software Engineering Manager I, Google Cloud

  Location: Pune, Maharashtra, India

  Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C , Java, JavaScript).
  • 1.5 years of experience in a leadership role (technical leadership or people management, supervision, or team leadership).

  Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field.
  • 1 year of experience working in a complex, matrixed organization.
  • Responsibilities:
    • Set and communicate team priorities aligned with organizational goals.
    • Provide feedback and coaching to team members for performance and development.
    • Develop and drive technical vision and roadmap within the team scope.
    • Review code, provide feedback, and ensure best practices are followed.
